Supplement fulfillment: every lot tracked, the oldest sellable lot ships first.

YNK ships supplements and gummies from Elmwood Park, New Jersey, for Shopify, Amazon, and TikTok Shop brands. Every case is received with its lot number and expiry date. Picking is first-expired-first-out, so the oldest sellable lot leaves first. Orders in by 12pm ET ship the same business day. Makks gummy vitamins ship from this floor.

What this category needs, and what we do

Lot and expiry on every unit
Lot number and expiry date are recorded at receiving, before a unit reaches a bin. Stock is held by lot, not only by SKU.
The oldest sellable stock ships first
Picking is first-expired-first-out (FEFO). The pick list sends the picker to the lot that expires soonest, so short-dated stock does not sit behind a fresh case.
Accuracy on bottles that look alike
Every SKU is barcoded and scan-verified against the order before it goes in the box. Under 0.3% pick and pack error across the floor.
Subscription orders on time, every cycle
Shopify subscription orders arrive as normal orders and ship on the same 12pm ET cutoff. Amazon and TikTok Shop draw on the same inventory.
Cutoff and SLA
Orders in by 12pm ET ship the same business day. Later orders ship the next business day, two to three in peak.
Rates that hold through peak
Handling $3.00 per order, storage $0.65 per cubic foot per month, returns $3.00 per parcel, as estimates. No seasonal or peak surcharges on handling or storage.
Receiving

Received by lot and expiry, not just by SKU.

A supplement inbound is rarely one SKU. It is one SKU in several lots with several dates. We receive it that way. At the dock each case is opened, counted, and scanned to stock with its lot number and expiry date. Mixed lots on one pallet are split and put away separately, so the system knows which units carry which date.

Your packing list and our count have to agree before anything is sellable. After that, cycle counts keep the shelf and the dashboard equal, by lot.

This is the step that makes everything after it work. If the lot is wrong at receiving, FEFO picks the wrong bottle and a recall list is a spreadsheet of guesses.

Picking

FEFO picking, so short-dated stock never sits.

First-expired-first-out is the rule for every lot-tracked SKU on the floor. When an order comes in, the pick list points at the lot with the nearest expiry date that is still sellable. The picker scans the bin, scans the unit, and the system confirms it is the right SKU and the right lot. If the scan does not match, the unit does not go in the box.

That is how supplements stay inside the floor-wide pick and pack error of under 0.3%.

Gummies are picked the same way as capsules and powders: by lot, scan-verified, and on the same cutoff. Makks gummy vitamins run on this process.

Channels and kits

Subscriptions, Amazon, and TikTok Shop from one inventory pool.

Supplement brands sell on repeat. Shopify subscription orders from apps like Recharge arrive as normal Shopify orders and ship on the same 12pm ET cutoff as everything else. Amazon merchant-fulfilled orders and TikTok Shop orders connect natively and draw on the same inventory. A lot that is tracked for your Shopify customers is tracked for your Amazon customers too.

FBA replenishment ships from the same stock, labeled and prepped to Amazon’s current requirements and checked before the pallet leaves the dock. Standing kits, a three-bottle bundle or a starter pack with an insert, are set up once in the WMS and picked like any SKU. One-off projects such as relabeling a lot run as special-project labor, $35 per hour as an estimate.

You watch all of it, inventory, order status, and SLA, in the same live dashboard we run our own brands on.

Questions

Do you track lot numbers and expiry dates on supplements?

Yes. Every unit is received with its lot number and expiry date, stored by lot, and picked first-expired-first-out (FEFO), so the oldest sellable lot ships first.

What happens to a lot that is close to its expiry date?

FEFO sends it out first while it is still sellable. Tell us your rule for short-dated stock in the intake and we follow it.

Do subscription orders ship on the same cutoff?

Yes. Shopify subscription orders arrive as normal Shopify orders and ship on the same 12pm ET cutoff. Later orders ship the next business day, two to three in peak.
