Apparel fulfillment: every size and shade barcoded, scanned, and shipped the same day.
YNK began inside Veiled, a fashion brand, as its in-house fulfillment. Apparel is the category this floor was built for. Every size and shade is barcoded and scanned at receiving and again at pick. Veiled ships six units an order at a 99.995% order success rate, and FSF ships from the same floor. Orders in by 12pm ET ship the same business day.

What this category needs, and what we do
- Sizes and shades that look alike on a shelf
- Every variant barcoded and scanned at receiving, so look-alike sizes and shades never share a bin.
- Multi-unit orders, each a chance to get it wrong
- Scan-verified picking. Each unit is checked against the order before it goes in the box, six times for a six-unit order.
- Bulky orders forced into small cartons
- Packing standards written for bulky apparel. Orders arrive folded and intact, not crushed into the smallest box that closes.
- Returns that come back in volume
- Received, graded, restocked to the variant bin or set aside per your policy, with refunds that can fire on receipt through your store. $3.00 per parcel as an estimate.
- Cutoff and SLA
- Orders in by 12pm ET ship the same business day. Later orders ship the next business day, two to three in peak.
- Drops and sales without a surcharge
- No seasonal or peak surcharges on handling or storage. Tell us the date and the expected volume and we plan labor around it.
Every size and shade barcoded and scanned in.
Apparel accuracy is decided at receiving. A size run of one style in four shades is sixteen SKUs that look nearly the same folded in a poly bag. Each one gets its own barcode and its own bin. Nothing is put away by eye. The receiver scans the unit, the system tells it where it lives, and look-alike variants never share a location.
If your product arrives without a scannable barcode, we label it before it goes to stock as special-project labor, so the pick scan has something to check against. Cycle counts after that keep the shelf count and the dashboard count equal by size and color, which is what your merchandiser is actually looking at.
This is the same receiving process Veiled has run since the floor was its own back room, now applied to every apparel brand here.
Six units an order, each one scanned before it goes in the box.
A multi-unit apparel order is several chances to get it wrong. One wrong size or shade means a return, a reship, and a customer who hesitates next time. So every unit is scan-verified against the order before it is packed. A six-unit order is scanned six times. If a scan does not match, the unit does not go in.
Then the box. Bulky apparel does not forgive careless packing. Our packing standards for apparel are written down: folded, not stuffed, in a carton or mailer sized to the order rather than the smallest one that closes. Your branded mailers, tissue, inserts, and cards are stored here and packed by rule, for example a thank-you card in every box. Plain packaging is fine too.
That is how Veiled ships bulky orders averaging six units at a 99.995% order success rate, and it is the standard every apparel brand on the floor inherits.
Returns graded, restocked to the right bin, refunded by your rules.
A return handled badly is lost twice: once on the refund, and again on the unit that never makes it back to a sellable bin. Returns come back to the same floor that shipped them. Each parcel is received, opened, and graded against your policy. Sellable units are scanned back into the exact variant bin they came from, so the size that just came back is the size that can sell again tonight.
Units that fail grading are set aside per your rules. Refunds can fire on receipt through your store, so your customer is not waiting on a weekly batch. Returns are $3.00 per parcel as an estimate, and you get the data on what is coming back and why, by SKU.
