Three hard problems, solved on our floor.
Accuracy on bulky multi-unit orders. A surprise 10,000-order weekend. A 3PL switch with no downtime. The numbers below are ours, from the brands we ship for.
Six units an order. 99.995% of orders right.
The brand YNK was built inside · veiled.com
The brand
Veiled is where YNK started. It sells modest fashion, hijabs, abayas and dresses, to customers around the world, and its orders are big: six units on average, in sizes, fabrics and shades that look alike on a shelf. Apparel this bulky fills a bin fast and does not forgive careless packing.
The problem
Every multi-unit apparel order is several chances to get it wrong. One wrong size or shade means a return, a reship and a customer who hesitates next time. Across the volume Veiled ships, even a small miss rate becomes a steady stream of returns and apologies.
What we did
- →Every variant barcoded and scanned at receiving, so look-alike sizes and shades never share a bin.
- →Scan-verified picking: each unit is checked against the order before it goes in the box, six times for a six-unit order.
- →Packing standards written for bulky apparel, so orders arrive folded and intact, not forced into the smallest carton.
- →The same live dashboard the founders check every morning, with accuracy tracked per order, not per month.
The result
Veiled ships at a 99.995% order success rate. That is five misses in every hundred thousand orders, on orders that average six units each. It is the standard every other brand on our floor inherits.
A surprise sale. 10,000+ orders in a weekend. Every SLA kept.
Fulfilled by YNK · nominalx.com
The brand
Nominal makes meaningful everyday jewelry, small, high-value pieces across a deep catalog of designs, for a following that shows up fast when there is a deal.
The problem
The brand called a warehouse sale at the last minute. No months-long peak plan, no labor booked weeks ahead. The sale generated more than 10,000 orders in a single weekend, the kind of spike that earns a surcharge and a two-week backlog at a box-storage 3PL.
What we did
- →Operators, not a ticket queue. The people who run our own brands through peak ran this one, over the weekend.
- →One WMS for the whole operation, so every order, pick and label was visible to the brand in real time while the queue burned down.
- →No surcharge and no renegotiation. The rate in the agreement held through the spike, the way it holds through every peak.
The result
More than 10,000 orders shipped within the SLA, with no missed day and nothing extra on the invoice. The sale cleared. The SLA record did not move.
From another 3PL to live on our floor in one weekend.
Fulfilled by YNK
The brand
Found was leaving its previous 3PL. A transition is the moment brands fear most: inventory in trucks, orders piling up, two warehouses pointing at each other. Most 3PL transitions take weeks, and the orders do not stop while you wait.
The problem
Keep selling through the switch. Found needed its catalog mapped, its inventory received and counted, its store connected and its orders flowing, without customers noticing a thing.
What we did
- →Mapped before the trucks arrived: SKUs, shipping rules and packaging standards loaded into the WMS from the brand’s own exports.
- →Scan-to-stock receiving on arrival, so inventory was sellable the moment it reached the shelf.
- →Store connected and tested the same weekend, with the first orders picked as soon as the sync went live.
The result
Found went from inbound to shipping live orders in a single weekend. No gap in fulfillment, no backlog to dig out of, and a transition its customers never saw.
